Will a Full Solar Home work for you?
If you live in an area where snow accumulation*
is not an issue, yes. We’ve got you covered with one
or more of the design approaches here, guaranteed.
The first step to saving hundreds of thousands
of dollars on energy and interest is to find out how
many solar panels would you need to produce as
much energy as your home and vehicles use (and
how much roof space they would take).
And when we say energy for your home, we
include energy for heating as well as cooling.
Get the answer based on your own
information for $72 (refundable with any plans
from us). View a sample Comprehensive Solar
Calclulation (CSC) here.
We combine sunshine data from your location
with the energy required for your home and for the
miles you’ll drive in EVs similar to vehicles you have
now. Then we factor in system losses and calculate
how many solar panels you would need to do the
job.
To order your CSC, call us at 772-519-8231, or
email us.
Tell us where you are, the energy use in your
area of a home similar in size to what you have in
mind, what kind of vehicles you currently drive and
how many miles you drive per year (e.g. minivan
15,000 miles, pickup truck 14,000, SUV 12,000). The
more specific the information you provide the more
accurate the report will be.
You (or family, friends) can get data from the
power company and gas company billing history.
Total annual kWh of electricity and quantities of
natural gas or propane allow a very accurate
calculation.
When we receive your info, we’ll email an invoice
for $72. Upon payment, a real person will prepare
your CSC and email it to you within 48 hours.
Your questions are welcome, including before
ordering. If you want to include a floorplan you are
considering, please do (including overall dimensions).
One or more of the design approaches shown here
will work for you, guaranteed. If you can’t fit the
solar you need by enlarging one or more of these
designs by no more than 10 feet in one direction,
we’ll refund your $72.
*If you live in a snowy area, you will need a steeper
roof and more panels.
